Delta Dental of Tennessee and its Smile180 Foundation helped the state of Tennessee develop a state-funded program that helps provide subsidies for dentures and other prosthodontic devices for Tennesseans. The foundation administers this program for the state at no cost, and when the state budget took a hit during the pandemic that cut the program’s funding, Delta Dental of Tennessee stepped in to cover the remaining gap of more than $220,000. The program has helped 4,700 Tennesseans — and counting — restore their smiles, confidence, and entire outlook on life.
